Schubertiades

Schubertiades are special concerts organised to emphasise the convivial atmosphere reminiscent of the spirit of the original Schubertiades, somewhat like a gathering of friends enjoying  highest quality music. The works performed are always introduced with a brief historical & musical synopsis to heighten our musical understanding & love of Schubert's works and there is an interval during which the audience can meet with the committee and the performers and enjoy some Viennese & other refreshments.

Our Schubertiades are aimed to make the works of this outstanding musical genius accessible to all and not merely to Schubert officionados or confirmed classical music lovers. Whether you are classically trained or not, our Schubertiades will provide you with a real musical treat!
