Lauren Cohen, Mezzo Soprano

Nineteen year old Mezzo Soprano, Lauren Cohen, is currently in year two of the elite performance course, the Bachelor of Music  at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

She is studying singing under the guidance of Maree Ryan, Chair of Vocal Studies and Opera.

Her specialization currently  is in the art songs repertoire.

Her recent  credits include soloist with the Woollahra Philharmonic Orchestra in 2006, and participation in Gluck’s opera Paris and Helen at the Conservatorium directed by Barry Ryan and conducted by Simon Kenway.

She was a soloist in 2007 for the Sydney Schubert Society's Schubertiade 325 performing in ensemble with pianist Eun-Jung Byun.
