Sydney
based coloratura soprano. She is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Music
from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, studying voice under the tutelage of Maree

Erika’s interest in singing began in her primary school years with such inspirational
opportunities as singing with Gondwana Voices. As a member of that choir, Erika
toured with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Neil Finn and Michael Leunig.
After graduating year 12 in 2003, Erika began full time vocal study at the Sydney
Conservatorium of Music. There, she has had the chance to work with such renowned
coaches as Simon Kenway, Nicole Dorigo, Elisabeth Pilgrab and Julia Deplater. Erika
has sung with the Conservatorium’s Chamber Choir, directed by Neil McEwen, performing
Bach’s St John's Passion in a 2004 radio
broadcast. As well, she has performed soprano solo excerpts from Purcell’s
The Fairy Queen and Gluck’s Orfeo
with the Conservatorium’s Early Music Ensemble, conducted by Neal Peres da Costa.
Erika has had the opportunity to sing for many distinguished Australian and overseas
performers such as Emma Kirkby, Yvonne Kenny, Peter Coleman-Wright and Cheryl Barker.
After the completion of her Bachelor degree, Erika aims to continue her study at
